Antisemitism… The Trick That Fooled the World

✍️ Analysis – BETH Agency

When words become weapons, language itself turns into a battlefield…
And that’s exactly what happened with the term "antisemitism."

A term born in Europe to justify hatred against Jews—then reinvented as a political and media shield to silence any criticism of Israel or exposure of its practices.

📌 Who Are the Semites?

The term Semitic is a linguistic and ethnocultural classification, not religious or racial.

It originates from “Shem, son of Noah” and includes peoples who historically spoke Semitic languages, such as:

Arabs

Hebrews (ancient Jews)

Assyrians, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Akkadians, Arameans, Ethiopians…

🔎 The truth:
Arabs are not only Semitic—they represent the living majority of Semitic peoples today, through linguistic and civilizational continuity.

So how can the Arab be accused of antisemitism… while being one of its original descendants?

🔍 The Origin of the Term—and Its Transformation

The term "antisemitism" was coined in 1879 by German thinker Wilhelm Marr, initially in the context of European hostility toward Jews.

But it quickly evolved into a universal shield for Israel, used to criminalize any political or human rights critique:

Criticizing Israeli occupation = “antisemitic”

Supporting Palestine = “incitement” or “pro-terrorism”

Questioning Holocaust narratives = a punishable thought crime in Europe

🔻 Thus, the term shifted from a descriptor of racism… to a global moral veto, silencing voices, erasing thinkers, and punishing curiosity.

🎭 Why Does the West Fear the Label?

1️⃣ Historical Guilt

The West persecuted Jews for centuries.
It now carries a collective guilt that Israel has mastered exploiting.

2️⃣ Moral–Media Blackmail

Major platforms, lobbying networks, and global media alliances reshape any criticism of Israel into an attack on “Western values.”

3️⃣ Strategic Alliances

Israel is positioned as part of the “Western civilizational project.”
Critiquing it is framed as attacking the West itself.

⚠️ What Happens After the Accusation?

Permanent Stigma: Even anti-Zionist Jews are vilified.

Institutional Exclusion: Erased from conferences, academia, and public platforms.

Forced Rehabilitation: Public apologies, symbolic “donations,” and re-education rituals.

Legal Censorship: In countries like France and Germany, merely revisiting Holocaust figures can lead to prosecution.

🧨 BETH Analysis:

“Antisemitism” no longer refers to hatred of Jews…
It has become a global silencing mechanism to suppress any criticism of Israel.
The West absolved its sins… by handing Israel a blank check of immunity
And then redirected the accusations… toward the Arab world: the new victim.

🎯 And the Provocative Question:

If the charge of “antisemitism” is used to exclude Arabs,
Isn’t that, in itself, a form of antisemitism—
But this time… against the real Semites?
