On the twenty-sixth of December of the year 2021, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesman for the Joint Operations Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, held a press conference in which he discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni crisis and the course of the military operations of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy. The conference provides conclusive evidence of the involvement of the Lebanese Hezbollah, which is classified as a terrorist, in providing material, human, military and technical support to the Houthi group in Yemen in their military operations targeting Yemeni and Saudi regions alike.
Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki began his press conference by emphasizing that the goal of the military operations led by the coalition to support Yemeni legitimacy is to achieve peace, in the face of the destruction that Iran seeks to spread in the Arab countries through its arms and militias, referring to what the Syrian people have suffered as a result of Hezbollah's intervention. The Lebanese in the Syrian war, and the economic and political crisis that Lebanon is witnessing is causing Hezbollah’s control over it, in addition to the security and political chaos that Iraq suffers from due to Iran’s expansionist ambitions, and the behavior of its militias in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, all the way to Yemen.
Al-Maliki added: "The war is intellectual, cultural and social, against the sectarian ideology that Iran has planted in some Arab countries."
The Houthis do not want to solve the crisis and achieve peace
In the context of the course of the Yemeni crisis, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki said that the Houthis refused in 2016 to reach a comprehensive political solution under the auspices of the United Nations, and added: “Some representatives of the Houthi delegation asked to leave Kuwait to take instructions from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and when they returned they rejected the draft. reached".
He also indicated that the Houthis refused to abide by all the initiatives presented, whether by the United Nations, Western countries or Arab countries participating in the coalition to support legitimacy. Navigation and global trade are threats from Iranian arms.
Evidence of the Lebanese Hezbollah's involvement in the Yemen war
And in the context of the involvement of foreign hands in the Yemeni war, Brigadier General Al-Roken reviewed many evidence and video materials that prove Hezbollah’s involvement in supporting the Houthi militia and direct intervention in the course of the Yemeni war, by displaying photos and video materials that show leaders and experts from Hezbollah is present on Yemeni soil and in the training and manufacture headquarters of Houthi weapons.
A video clip was also shown showing a leader in the Lebanese Hezbollah giving instructions to the terrorist known as "Abu Ali al-Hakim" and addressing him with words, saying: "The military sector in Hodeidah is very important, if Hodeidah falls, support will end to confront the aggression, the sea is the only gateway to Support, Mr. Hassan Mubarak Haki wished to fight in Yemen, this is how you retreated on the fronts, and the aggression arrived at Hodeidah airport, this was the place before the aggression, that’s it because of the differences that occurred between you, if the United Nations did not withstand the service that became, Hodeidah would have fallen from our hands, Our project is bigger than these differences, we left everything behind us and when we stop with you, the Syrian war is nearing its end and most of the Mujahideen will come to Yemen, if we lose the sea, it will not deliver no support and no mujahideen. Curse us. We want a crowd of Mujahideen. We want to arrange our ranks to prevent the fall of Hodeidah I thank Khayi Buali for the effort he made to arrange ranks and resolve differences, and through the leadership’s communication with him, they emphasized the necessity of our control over the Red Sea and its coasts.
The Spokesperson for the Joint Operations Command of the Coalition to Support Yemeni Legitimacy also showed a video clip showing a Lebanese Hezbollah leader booby-trapping a drone, and teaching Houthi militia members how to booby-trap drones used by the Houthis to target Yemeni and Saudi lands. A photographer shows the headquarters taken by members and experts of the Lebanese Hezbollah as a place for residence and military training. In the video, an element of Hezbollah is seen praying. Brigadier General Al-Maliki commented on this saying: “He prays, but we do not know which direction he prays, and he is the one who is praying.” It targeted Makkah al-Mukarramah in 2017, and helped launch ballistic missiles.”
Al-Maliki added that all these evidence prove Hezbollah's involvement in the Yemeni crisis and in deepening the wounds and suffering of the Yemeni people, by supporting the Houthi militia, giving orders and booby-trapping drones, thus threatening the security and lands of the Kingdom.
In response to a journalist’s questions about the measures that Saudi Arabia might take after confirming Hezbollah’s involvement in the Yemeni war and targeting Saudi lands, Brigadier General Al-Maliki replied: “We ask what the Lebanese will do about this cancer in Lebanon, which affected the country.” The Lebanese are before others in the region, whether economically or politically. There is a responsibility that falls on the Lebanese themselves from this terrorist organization, and there is a responsibility on the international community, because the activity of this militia has transgressed the Lebanese territory and spread to the region as well as to Africa, Europe and Latin America, and it became imperative for the The international community needs a decisive response to these militias.”
And the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had previously severed diplomatic relations with Lebanon, as it withdrew its ambassador, Mr. Walid Al-Bukhari from Lebanon, and asked the Lebanese ambassador in the Kingdom to leave Saudi lands. At that time, the Saudi Foreign Minister commented on these events that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia does not see any A benefit in dealing with Lebanon in light of the current situation, that is, in light of Hezbollah's control over the political decision and the Lebanese political arena.
Lebanon is also experiencing successive crises at the level of relations with its friendly countries, whether the Arab countries, especially the Arab Gulf countries, or the Western friendly countries because of Hezbollah’s dominance over the Lebanese decision-making, as well as the transformation of Lebanon by the aforementioned party into a launching center for the trade and export of contraband, which It tarnished Lebanon's international reputation and strained its relations with many countries of the world, especially its Arab incubator.
It is certain that the proof of Hezbollah’s involvement in supporting and participating with the Houthi militia in targeting Saudi lands will have major repercussions on Lebanon, which is already suffering from a stifling political and economic crisis, in addition to destabilizing its relations with its friendly countries, especially Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. The Arab League, and that these repercussions will continue to exacerbate as long as the party has the upper hand and the last word in the Lebanese decision, and that the Arab and international isolation that Lebanon suffers from will deepen and exacerbate unless the Lebanese succeed in restoring the sovereignty of their country and evaluating its internal and external policies.
