Beth: Two books have been published by the Arab Thought Foundation, the first in Arabic under the title "The Arabs and the Challenges of Transition towards Knowledge and Innovation" and the second in English.

“Empowering Knowledge and Innovation: Challenges for the Arab Countries”

Their authors are Dr. Moeen Hamza and Dr. Omar El-Bizri.

The two books are similar in content and are based on the same data and indicators, but they are not translations from one language to another, and they differ in their orientation, analysis, and themes that they address. The two books deal with the latest published statistics and data on the status of research, technological development and innovation in the Arab countries, and focus on the emerging knowledge transformations based on digital technologies, biotechnology and innovative materials, as well as ways to enable society to interact with scientific knowledge.

The two books dedicate a space for the scientific knowledge of Arab citizens, and explore the extent of their confidence in science and scientists compared to other societies.

The two books represent reliable and documented references that those concerned with scientific research, academics, students and those interested in technology and innovation activities in the Arab world can benefit from and invest in their contents. They also draw a clear roadmap towards building a society of knowledge and innovation, to achieve the comprehensive and sustainable development that our Arab countries need.

It should be noted that the two books will be the focus of research and discussion in seminars that will be held on them in several countries.
