Beth: The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has signed an investment contract for the first coffee city in the Kingdom in the village of Ma’shuqa in the Al-Qura Governorate of the Al-Baha region, with an area of ​​1,662,373 square meters, for a period of 15 years, with the Agricultural Cooperative Society in Baljurashi, affiliated to the Al-Baha region (southwest of the Kingdom).

The ministry explained in a statement that this step aims to achieve sufficiency in agricultural products and crops, encourage the movement of agricultural investment, develop vegetation cover, create job opportunities for the people of the region, and enhance the role of cooperative societies in Saudi Arabia.

The ministry indicated that the project includes planting 300,000 Arabi coffee and pomegranate trees with high productivity.
