Ronaldo resorts to a trick to catch up with his Juventus team against Barcelona
Wednesday, Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal on a private plane for Turin, Italy, after he was infected with the Corona virus and was excluded from his country's squad that will face Sweden.
According to the Italian site "tuttomercatoweb", Ronaldo was transferred from the Portuguese national team camp by ambulance to a private plane to comply with all safety measures.
The Portuguese star will move to health isolation, immediately after arriving at Turin airport.
According to Italian and Portuguese media, Ronaldo chose to spend the quarantine period in Italy, because the isolation has become only ten days, while it extends to 14 days in Portugal.
Ronaldo wants to get out quickly from quarantine and return to the stadiums, in order to catch up with the match that his team, Juventus, will play against Barcelona on October 28, for the second round of the group stage of the Champions League.
