During the speech, Al-Khuraiji stressed that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has devoted all its efforts to confronting the emerging pandemic of the Corona virus (Covid 19) and protecting people on its soil from it, by taking the most precautionary and health measures in accordance with the highest international medical standards and the announced protocols of the World Health Organization, pointing out He indicated that the Kingdom worked during its presidency of the Group of Twenty for the past year 2020, in light of the Corona pandemic, to amend its presidency program for the summit, to focus mainly on addressing the pandemic, and its health, economic and social consequences, and intensifying efforts in all working groups to address its outputs the most important aspects that affect human life in various fields. And all over the world.
He explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has close and extended cooperation with all international parties related to addressing the (Covid 19) pandemic, based on its keenness on international cooperation and sharing with the world the challenges and difficulties it faces, and as an extension of international partnerships, and in response to humanitarian calls that the Kingdom has spared no effort in Responding to it all over the world to achieve a better life for people.
His Excellency pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 set the environment and sustainable development as one of its main goals, and stressed the need to preserve the environment through its presidency of the G-20 countries for the past year 2020, where it placed the axis (preserving the planet) at the forefront of its agenda, based on its quest to ensure sustainability And finding feasible solutions to environmental, climate and energy issues around the world, pointing to the Kingdom's launch of the "Green Saudi Arabia" and "Green Middle East" initiatives, which aim to protect the earth and nature and confront environmental challenges.
