Saudi Arabia... Launching the second phase of the Filmmakers Program
Riyadh - The Film Authority announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the second phase of the Filmmakers Program in cooperation with the most important universities and international institutions. To support and develop creative talents, develop their passion and advance their skills in the art of filmmaking.

The second phase of the program will witness the establishment of a number of training courses, most notably: introduction to documentary film, documentary film editing, film without a camera, advanced use of the camera and scenery, working with actors, production design course, production of visual effects, basics of triple animation films. Dimensions, basics of management in film production, production lines for production managers, what is accounting in production, basics of accounting in production, which is provided by the authority in cooperation with a group of training bodies and international and local film institutes, most notably: Le Femis, London Film School, National Film & Television School (NFTS)
In designing the program, the Film Commission took into account its richness and diversity, and the comprehensiveness of building and preparing the participant to cover all areas related to the world of filmmaking, in line with the efforts of the Ministry of Culture aimed at developing the film sector in the Kingdom.
The authority called on those wishing and interested in the film industry to take the initiative and register in the program to obtain the highest levels of training and qualification by experienced professionals and specialists in this field.
The Film Authority had launched the Filmmakers Program within the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program “one of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030” and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of discovering and developing national talents by providing intensive training programs and comprehensive workshops, to make a quantum leap in the local film industry and advance it according to International standards, in addition to enhancing the audience's passion for the film sector and encouraging them to take their first steps towards fulfilling this passion.
