G20 finance ministers and bank governors meeting ... Wednesday

The finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 countries will hold a meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, under the Kingdom's presidency of the Group of Twenty, to discuss developments, global economic prospects, negative risks and possible policy measures in order to avoid them and support a rapid and sustainable global economic recovery. Updates on the G20 action plan will also be discussed. Supporting the global economy during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic (the G20 Action Plan), in addition to the progress made in the G20 initiative to suspend debt service payments and a proposal to extend it to 2021.

The meeting will be chaired by the Saudi Minister of Finance,  Muhammad Al-Jadaan, and the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khulaifi.
