Iran .. The police are launching a brutal campaign against the people of Al-Shtar village, because of their protest against the cutting down of walnut trees on their farms
Beth: A campaign was launched in Iran on April 28th to cut down walnut trees in the village of Kahman Al-Shtar, which is one of the sources of income for the citizens of this region who have endured for many years to take care of them.
The campaign was met with protests from the villagers, in reaction to this arbitrary act. The Special Unit of the Internal Security Forces threw tear gas at the protesters and opened fire on them with ballistic bullets.
And a large number of citizens were wounded. Among them were 30 women who were in the front row of the protesters. The condition of some of the wounded is deteriorating, and a number of them were transferred to Khorramabad.
The leader of the resistance and the elected president of Iran, Maryam Rajavi, sent a message in which she condemned the heinous crime committed by the elements of the Internal Security Forces and called on the citizens and the rebellious youth in Shatter and nearby areas to provide relief to the wounded and injured, especially persecuted women.
