In the midst of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, widespread power cuts in Tehran and other Iranian cities in the frosts of bitter winter and severe air pollution that cut the lives of the people of the country exacerbated the hardships of citizens and forced them to protest. Officials of the mullahs' regime offer various excuses to cut off the electricity supply, but they accuse the people of the country of lying and deceit, and blame them for the power outages.

However, these slanders are so ludicrous that their scandal appeared in government sources as well. The popular protests finally revealed that the main reason for the power outages in Iran was the mining of Bitcoin by the mullahs' regime guards and the Chinese. Mostapha Rajabi Mashhadi, a spokesman for the Iranian electricity industry, recently officially confirmed that "virtual currency extractors" are among the reasons for Iran's increased electricity consumption.

And for your information, Bitcoin is a digital currency that is mined by special computers and consumes a very large amount of electricity.

The national government newspaper, "Arman", wrote on the words of the experts, as saying: A major Chinese Bitcoin mining farm in Rafsanjan consumes electricity as much as several provinces. It is worth noting that Bitcoin mining consumes almost as much electricity as the metropolis of Mashhad, the second largest city in the country with a population of 3.5 million.

The newspaper wrote: The electricity consumption of the Chinese Bitcoin farm in Rafsanjan only causes a loss of 1,700 megawatts of electricity, equivalent to the electricity consumption in several provinces.

Regarding the pressure of bitcoin mining centers on the country's electricity grid, Resalat newspaper wrote: “The production of each Bitcoin unit consumes electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of 24 homes in Tehran, or the equivalent of electricity consumption for one house in Tehran for 24 years.” .

The fact is that the mullahs ’regime’s guards are the official sponsor of bitcoin farms in Iran, as well as the Chinese army earning billions of dollars from Bitcoin mining. By setting up bitcoin farms in Iran and using cheap electricity, profits are deposited directly in China.

In this regard, the government newspaper, Jahan Sanat, wrote: “The Chinese have established millions of farms in Iran because of the cheap electricity price in the country, and are extracting billions of dollars from Bitcoin. It is worth noting that the Chinese are not the only ones entering this field. Unfortunately, it seems that we should We live in smoke and darkness so that the Chinese can get rich. "

What is worth seeing, according to what we see in the media of the mullahs' regime in recent years, is fighting bitcoin mining farms, and in fact the mullahs ’regime’s guards began confiscating them two years ago, specifically in 2018.

According to unofficial statistics, there are currently around 180,000 bitcoin miners in Iran, most of which are owned by the companies and institutions of the mullahs ’regime’s guard forces. Certainly, this number does not include the contraband devices that entered the country and were not registered. For example, the police force imported about 16,000 Bitcoin miners.

In fact, the reason that the ruling institutions did not legally prohibit Bitcoin mining is that these institutions corrupted themselves morally by invading the private sector active in this field, otherwise no private sector would have been able to obtain a large number of bitcoin mining devices, in addition to the owners of farms. Digital big in Iran are institutions not subject to the law. Some entities such as the Central Bank do not dare to break into this field.

Sanctions circumvention, money laundering, and evading the banking system are among the factors that have made Bitcoin mining an attractive field for the mullahs ’regime’s guard forces.

On September 29, 2019, an online banking news site wrote that the Energy Ministry says there are 148,000 Bitcoin mining devices in Iran, and these activities generate an annual income of about $ 219 million.

How much does the mullahs' regime earn from Bitcoin mining?

Bloomberg News wrote in July 2019 that extracting every bitcoin unit brings income to the mullahs' regime of $ 8,300.

The government website "Election" wrote on February 6, 2020, citing the newspaper "Wake" that the income of the mullahs' regime from Bitcoin amounts to 8 billion and 500 million dollars.

In an interview with Channel 5 on the mullahs' regime television, Al-Hursi Jalali revealed on September 28, 2019 a bigger secret, saying: “More than 90 percent of our money has become electronic and there is no paper currency except between 7 and 10 percent.” Although he was referring to the rate of cash turnover, the truth is that the most common cash in Internet business deals is "digital cryptocurrencies", the most important and most famous of which is the "Bitcoin" currency.

Exclusive trade of the mullahs' regime guards

Now we can realize that the mullahs ’regime’s guards entered from this suspicious business by stages more than expected, and it is a business monopolized by this repressive force in principle since 2019 as a result of the massive attack by these forces on Bitcoin mining farms. Certainly, this criminal bunch is seeking Chinese and non-Chinese experts recruited for this task.

As confirmed by the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the mullahs ’regime’s guard forces are the main focal point for internal repression and export of the mullah’s regime’s terrorism. Therefore, it is necessary to solve it, and the solution to all the problems of the Iranian people is the overthrow of the mullahs' regime.
