Qiddiya launches "Dragon Ball" amusement park, the first of its kind in the world
The board of Directors of Qiddiya investment company announced today, Friday, the launch of Dragon Ball theme park, an unprecedented entertainment city, designed to adopt the philosophy of "the power of play" in Qiddiya city, where visitors can experience an exceptional experience in the world of the famous Dragon Ball.
The unveiling of the Dragon Ball Park comes a few weeks after the announcement of the launch of 3 major assets in Qiddiya city, the games and e-sports area incubating the largest gaming industry companies and the most prominent e-sports clubs, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, which will be one of the most prominent stadiums in the world, and the unique speed track for motor sports.
The first of its kind Dragon Ball theme park in the world will be located in Qiddiya, just 40 minutes from Riyadh, and extends over an area of more than half a million square meters, and the new park is expected to provide an unprecedented global entertainment experience, welcoming anime fans and entertainment-seeking families from all over the world, to explore seven distinct areas, inspired by the legendary Dragon Ball series.
This announcement comes at a time when Qiddiya is entering into a long-term strategic partnership with Toei Animation, the leading animation company in Japan, and the creator of the original Dragon Ball characters, and this partnership aims to preserve the original character of the Dragon Ball world, through a common vision to embody the famous legend in reality.

Visitors to the park will be able to travel through a fun interactive journey inside the world of Dragon Ball and its famous stories, such as "kami's House","capsule company", and"Planet Pyrus", where the park offers more than 30 games with five leading entertainment facilities, everyone can enjoy its fantasy atmosphere.
Dragon Ball Park will offer visitors to experience the full Adventures of Son Goku, starting from his childhood adventures inside the Dragon Ball world, to the legendary intergalactic confrontations in the Dragon Ball Super world, and during this experience, visitors will regain their distinctive memories with these stories, while staying in themed hotels inside the park, exploring a variety of distinctive food and drinks.
Dragon Ball theme park is planned to be one of several projects to be developed jointly by Qiddiya investment company and Toei Animation, with the aim of building an entertainment destination inspired by the anime world, beyond imagination.
The Dragon Ball Park will strengthen the status of Qiddiya city as the capital of play in the world, and it was announced that the Qiddiya brand adopted the concept of play, based on the results of decades of research that proved that play is a vital element for Human Cognitive Development, emotional expression, social skills, creativity and physical health.studies have also proven the positive effects of recreational activities on society and their ability to eliminate differences between individuals and enhance the level of empathy and social cohesion.
The announcement of the Dragon Ball Park comes as part of a series of announcements in which details of the urban plan of the city of Qiddiya and its main components will be revealed, while more important assets are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
