Statistics issued by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and agriculture in Qassim region showed that the region hosts 12,327 farms with more than 11 million and 200 thousand palm trees producing more than 320 thousand tons annually. Despite the strength of sales and its continuous growth year after year, the Buraydah dates market is still promising. the fruit so far from the number of Palms is about 8 million palms and represents only about ( 75 ) percent of the number of Palms in the region, the market is promised to produce more than three million new Palms in the coming coming years and of high quality, as Qassim farms are racing to obtain the Saudi dates mark granted by the National Center for palms and dates to entities that have met the technical and standard requirements for food safety to comply with the requirements of international markets, and this huge crop requires the entry of entities new investments and enabling leading companies to contribute to the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030 by boosting non-oil exports and making the kingdom the number one exporter of dates globally .
