The third expansion of the Grand Mosque is ready to receive worshipers during the month of Ramadan

The Deputy President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque, Dr. Saad bin Muhammad Al-Muhaimid, announced the readiness of the third Saudi expansion of the Grand Mosque, to receive worshipers at full capacity, during the month of Ramadan for this year.

Al-Muhaimid emphasized that all the prayer halls and paths apply all precautionary measures to ensure that there is no rapprochement between the worshipers during entry and exit, and during their performance of prayer, and that all entrances are provided with temperature measuring devices, and the sorting points for which qualified and trained human cadres have been allocated to apply all precautionary measures that include Safety of visitors and visitors to the Grand Mosque.

He explained that the routes were divided into several sections, namely the route of the pilgrimage journey, the path of the worshiper's journey, and each route was provided with a system of service, technical, directive, health and security services through which it guarantees the safety of pilgrims, worshipers and those who go to the Grand Mosque - with the will of God Almighty - and to ensure the provision of high and distinctive services that fulfill aspirations. The rulers of the matter - may God preserve them - according to the directives and follow-up of His Excellency the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.

Al-Muhaimid pointed out that the third Saudi expansion inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - is an extension of previous historical expansions that began with the order of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman - may God have mercy on him - and completed by His Majesty King Saud and Faisal - may God have mercy on them - then The expansion of the eastern squares that took place during the reign of King Khalid - may God have mercy on him - followed by the expansion of the mosque from the western side that took place during the reign of King Fahd - may God have mercy on him - followed by the expansion of the endeavor that took place during the reign of King Abdullah - may God have mercy on him - and then the major expansion that King Abdullah ordered Bin Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - and it was completed during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud .
