Continuation of construction work on the NEOM tunnels
Beth agency:
The construction works are ongoing and advanced in the NEOM tunnels within the spin layer, which will be dedicated to high-speed trains, mobility vehicles and freight trains, to connect the "the line" area with the "oxachon" area for advanced industries.
The line
The "the line" project is a revolution in urban life, which puts man at the top of its priorities by giving him an unprecedented urban living experience while preserving the surrounding nature. "The line" will redefine the concept of Urban Development and what cities should be in the future.
The city is unique in that it is free of streets and cars, and therefore it is free of carbon emissions, as the city will be fully supplied with 100% renewable energy, and 95% of the area of NEOM will be protected nature will not be touched. The means of transportation and infrastructure will be designed to serve the human person, and not vice versa, as happens in traditional cities. The city of "the line" will be 200 m wide, 170 km long and 500 m high above sea level.
"The line" will accommodate 9 million residents within a city that will be built on an area of only 34 km2, and therefore the infrastructure footprint will reach its lowest levels, resulting in unprecedented levels of efficiency in the use of city resources. The ideal climate throughout the year will also ensure residents to enjoy the surrounding nature and access to all facilities within a 5-minute walk, in addition to an integrated system of Transportation via a high-speed train, connecting the maximum two points within the "the line" in no more than 20 minutes.
Oxachon
Oxachon is building an advanced and clean industrial system that takes into account the principles of Environmental Conservation, accelerating the transition to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the principles of the circular economy. Oxachon is a new opportunity built from scratch to change the concept of traditional industrial cities, creating a new model centered on people, innovation and sustainability.
