In the context of what unites the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt and their leaderships - may God protect them - and their two brotherly peoples of deep historical brotherly ties, solid relations between them, bonds of kinship and a common destiny, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday corresponding to 5/8/1443 AH, and he was received by his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense - may God protect him - at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. In an atmosphere of affection and brotherhood that embodies the depth of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, an official session of talks was held between His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and His Excellency the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt - may God protect them - during which the solid historical relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed. In the political matter, the two sides affirmed their determination to enhance cooperation on all political issues and seek to develop common positions that preserve their security and stability for the two brotherly countries, and the importance of continued coordination and consultation regarding developments and developments in all bilateral and multilateral forums, in a way that contributes to achieving security, stability and prosperity in the two brotherly countries and the region.
The two sides exchanged views on issues and issues of concern to the two countries on the regional and international arenas, and affirmed work to coordinate their positions to serve their interests and enhance security and stability in the region and the world. They also stressed the importance of joint Arab action and the role of the League of Arab States in the framework of strengthening the mechanisms of joint Arab action and in resolving the region’s crises in accordance with relevant international resolutions and in accordance with the principles of international law. Stressing their continued support for achieving peace in the Middle East, and the importance of reaching a comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with the two-state solution, relevant international legitimacy resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative, in a manner that guarantees the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. The two sides affirmed that Arab security is an indivisible whole, and the importance of joint Arab action and full Arab solidarity to preserve Arab national security with the capabilities and capabilities that its countries have that qualify them to assume this responsibility, a responsibility that falls on all Arab countries, and the two brotherly countries undertake in the framework of their work. The two sides also affirmed their rejection of any attempts by regional parties to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries, or threaten their stability and undermine the interests of their people, whether that is through tools of ethnic and sectarian incitement, or tools of terrorism and terrorist groups, or through expansionist perceptions that do not respect the sovereignty of states and the principles of respect for good neighborliness. And they agreed to continue fighting terrorist organizations in the region in all their forms, and reviewed the efforts made by them in this regard.
The two sides condemned attempts to prejudice the security and safety of navigation in the Arabian Gulf, Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea, and stressed the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in these pivotal sea lanes, and the need to address any threats to them as they constitute a threat to regional and international security and stability.

The Egyptian side commended the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the Yemeni crisis and alleviate the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people. The two sides welcomed the issuance of the UN Security Council Resolution (2624) for the year 2022 AD, in which the Houthi militia was classified as a terrorist group, in addition to expanding the embargo on the delivery of weapons to Yemen to include all Members of the terrorist Houthi group. At the same time, the two sides praised the great role played by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to alleviate the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.
On the Iraqi issue, the two sides expressed their wishes for the formation of an Iraqi government that will continue working for the security, stability and development of Iraq, eliminating terrorism and stopping foreign interference in its internal affairs.
On the Sudanese issue, the two sides affirmed their continued support for the success of the transitional phase in a way that contributes to preserving the political and economic gains. They also stressed the importance of dialogue between the Sudanese parties, praising the role of the United Nations and the efforts of the United Nations Integrated Mission to support the transitional phase in Sudan (UNITAMS) to facilitate dialogue. Encouraging the values of consensus, strengthening the language of dialogue, reviving the political process, protecting the unity of the ranks among all its components and everything that would achieve security and stability in Sudan, wishing Sudan and its brotherly people stability and prosperity.
On the Lebanese issue, the two sides affirmed their keenness on the security, stability and unity of the Lebanese territories and the importance of continuing efforts aimed at preserving the Arab identity, security and stability of Lebanon, supporting the role of the Lebanese state institutions, and carrying out the necessary reforms to ensure that Lebanon overcomes its crisis, and that Lebanon does not become a starting point for any terrorist acts and an incubator for organizations and groups. Terrorism that destabilizes the security and stability of the region and not be a source or transit point for drug smuggling.
On the Syrian issue, the two sides stressed the importance of reaching a political solution to the crisis in Syria that fulfills the aspirations of the Syrian people and preserves Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, and stressed the need to limit regional interference in the Syrian issue that threatens the security and stability of Syria, its territorial integrity and the cohesion of its social fabric. The Saudi side affirmed its full support for Egyptian water security as an integral part of Arab water security, and urges Ethiopia to abandon its unilateral policy in connection with international rivers, and to abide by its commitments under international law, including the Declaration of Principles Agreement signed in 2015, which would not take Any unilateral measures regarding the filling and operation of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, and the need to cooperate in good faith with Egypt and Sudan to reach without delay a binding legal agreement on the rules of filling and operation, in line with the presidential statement issued by the Security Council in September 2021.

The two sides also expressed their satisfaction with the efforts made in the field of combating terrorism and its financing, and their joint efforts within the framework of the International Center for Targeting the Financing of Terrorism.
On the security and military side, the two sides praised the level of security cooperation and coordination that exists between the two countries, and their desire to enhance this in a way that achieves security and stability for the two brotherly countries.
