The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, announced that Saudi air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed several hostile targets.

The operations included intercepting four drones in the Empty Quarter that were heading toward the Shaybah oil field, in addition to intercepting two ballistic missiles launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base.

Another drone was intercepted east of Riyadh, and an additional drone in the Empty Quarter was also intercepted while heading toward the Shaybah field.

Al-Maliki stated that a ballistic missile fell in an uninhabited area after being launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base, without causing any damage.
