Saudi Deputy Defense Minister meets with Chinese Defense Minister
RIYADH - His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, met today, via video conference, with State Adviser and Minister of Defense of the People's Republic of China, Lieutenant-General Wei Fung Kha.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the defense and military field, and ways to develop them, in addition to discussing issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Al-Bayari, the Chairman of the Armed Forces Operations Authority Major General Misfer bin Suwailam Al Ghanem, and the Director General of the Office of His Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Seif, and Director of the International Cooperation Department in charge, Rear Admiral Saad bin Mohammed Al-Shehri.
From the Chinese side, the meeting was also attended by the head of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Jin Si Jiuyi, and the deputy head of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Jin Song Yanchao.

"Upon the direction of HRH the Crown Prince, I met with the Minister of National Defense in the people’s republic of China General Wei Fenghe. We reviewed the historic ties between our two countries and explored ways to strengthen our military and defense cooperation".
