Saudi Arabia issues a 20-riyal banknote

A celebration of the Kingdom's hosting of the G20 summit ... and an expression of the union of the world's largest economies' efforts to adopt solutions for a promising future for man.

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency “SAMA” announced its intention to offer a twenty-riyal denomination of Saudi paper currency on the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s presidency of the G20 summit during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

It will be offered and circulated starting Sunday 03/08/1442 AH corresponding to 10/25/2020 AD, along with the currently circulating banknotes.
