Launching the "Saudi Karting Star" program

JEDDAH - Prince Khaled bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, president of the Saudi Federation of Cars and Motorcycles, inaugurated the “Saudi Karting Star” program for electric karting competitions, which is implemented by the Saudi Motorsports Company as part of the activities accompanying the Saudi Grand Prix for Formula 1 for the year 2021 AD.

The program, which is being held in the southern area of ​​the Jeddah Corniche Circuit “Al Jamhour Area”, targets age groups from 6 to 12 years old, to discover talents in motor sports at an early age, as it includes a series of “karting” events designed to inspire the next generation of drivers, engineers and teams from Saudi youth, by giving them the opportunity to experience racing.

It is worth noting that the “Karting Star” program aims to bring together a series of diverse competitions that bring together young and emerging talents in karting races. The qualifying events for the program are held throughout the month of November throughout the Kingdom to select the best drivers in each event to compete in the final of the “Karting Star” program. The Karting Star” will accompany the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix from 3 to 5 December, at the karting circuit specially designed for this sport.
