Protest gatherings in Iran
Beth: Report from inside Iran; A wave of popular protest movements continued in various Iranian cities on Tuesday, as retirees from the steel company coming from the cities of Ahvas, Isfahan and Shahroud in Tehran organized a vigil with steel retirees in Tehran for the second day in a row.
A number of residents of the village of Marzigran in the city of Arak organized a protest gathering to object to the claim of the General Directorate of Endowments and Charitable Societies in Markazi Governorate regarding the ownership of the lands of this village.
A group of thalassemia patients who managed to bring themselves to the Ministry of Health organized a vigil against the shortage of vital drugs (Desferal and Gidnew).
They carried inscriptions in their hands saying:
We are one step away from death. Look at our lives with your own logic..
They identified their demands for medication.
