Saudi Arabia.. Require two-dose vaccination to enter these places

RIYADH - An official source in the Ministry of Interior stated that it is a reference to what was previously announced regarding the requirement of immunization, starting on Sunday 22 Dhu al-Hijjah 1442 AH corresponding to August 1, 2021 AD, in order to enter government, private and educational activities, events and facilities and use public transportation.

And based on what the health authorities have submitted about what has been proven by the competent national and international scientific authorities of the importance of completing the doses of the approved vaccine to control the spread of the virus, especially the mutated strains of it.

For the purpose of maintaining the health and safety of all; It was decided that:

First: Requiring immunization with two doses of approved vaccines starting at six in the morning on Sunday Rabi’ Al-Awwal 4, 1443 AH corresponding to October 10, 2021 AD, with regard to the following:

1- Entering any economic, commercial, cultural, recreational, sports or tourism activity.

2- Entering any cultural, scientific, social or recreational event.

3- Entering any governmental or private establishment, whether to perform business or audit.

4- Ride on planes and public transportation.

Second: Excluded from the above in item (First); Categories excluded from taking the vaccine, according to what appears in the “Tawakkalna” application.

The source stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures, preventive measures and approved protocols, and not to be lenient in that.

He explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
