The Saudi Culinary Arts Authority signs a memorandum of understanding with Le Cordon Bleu Institute

RIYADH - The Culinary Arts Authority signed, on Sunday, a memorandum of understanding with Le Cordon Bleu International Institute for Culinary Arts and Hospitality, to establish an educational institute in the city of Riyadh that offers advanced educational programs in the culinary and hospitality sector of “Le Cordon Bleu”, using its brands, educational resources and expertise.

The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture in the Bujairi district of Diriyah in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Culture, Vice Chairman of the Culinary Arts Authority Hamid bin Muhammad Fayez, the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom Ludovic Pouille, and the General Supervisor of Cultural Affairs and International Relations in the Ministry Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Tawq, and the Counselor for Cultural Cooperation at the French Embassy, ​​Catherine Lee Thomas, was represented by the Culinary Arts Authority in the signing, its CEO, Mayada Badr, and the Le Cordon Bleu Institute was represented by its president, Andre Quintreux.

From this initiative, the Culinary Arts Authority seeks to enrich the sector with training courses in agriculture and nutrition, provided by “Le Cordon Bleu”, establish an integrated curriculum for Saudi cuisine, and provide support in embracing and guiding Saudi chefs and chefs, who wish to start their own businesses and restaurants, as well as providing the opportunity For Saudi students to enroll in exchange programs at Cordon Bleu schools located outside the Kingdom, and for “Cordon Bleu” international students abroad to attend the institute in the Kingdom as part of experience exchange programs.
