The National Center for Debt Management closes the June 2021 offering of the Kingdom's local sukuk program in riyals at (8.265) billion riyals
Riyadh - Broadcast: Today, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the National Center for Debt Management announced the completion of receiving investor requests for its local issuance for the month of June 2021 under the Sukuk program of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Saudi riyals. Two hundred and sixty-five million Saudi riyals).
According to the statement issued by the center, the issues were divided into three segments, the first amounting to 2.755 billion Saudi riyals (two billion seven hundred and fifty-five million Saudi riyals) for sukuk maturing in the year 2028 AD.
The second tranche amounted to 4.650 billion Saudi riyals (four billion six hundred and fifty million Saudi riyals) for sukuk maturing in the year 2031 AD.
The third tranche amounted to 860 million Saudi riyals (eight hundred and sixty million Saudi riyals) for sukuk maturing in the year 2035 AD.
This issuance comes within the annual borrowing plan for the year 2021 AD, which was announced by the National Center for Debt Management at the beginning of the fiscal year through its website, through which it reviews the schedule of its local issuances to match the working days of the international market with regard to issuance announcements and settlement dates.
