Formula 1 racing circuit designs revealed in Jeddah

The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and the International Automobile Federation revealed the details of the circuit track of the penultimate round of the "Saudi Formula 1 Grand Prix", one of the Formula 1 races for this year 2021, which the Kingdom will host for the first time, during the period from December 3-5 On the Corniche of Jeddah.
The details of the circuit included the disclosure of its location, which will be on the Jeddah Corniche overlooking the Red Sea, with a length of 6,175 meters, which will make it the second longest circuit in the history of Formula 1 after the Belgian “Spa-Francorchamps” circuit, and the Jeddah circuit is the fastest with 27 Turning, with an average speed of at least 250 km/h, and a top speed of 322 km/h, the Federation also revealed that the upcoming race will be held at night under floodlights, which was recently applied in the 2021 Formula E race for electric cars, which it hosted Ad Diriyah.
