His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received at the Royal Court at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah today, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

His Highness the Crown Prince held a session of talks with His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar. His Highness the Crown Prince welcomed the Emir of the State of Qatar and his companions in the Kingdom, conveying the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, His Highness, the Emir of the State of Qatar, expressed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - and his happiness to visit the Kingdom, and his meeting with His Highness the Crown Prince.

His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr, praying to God Almighty to accept from everyone the good deeds, and to restore this honorable occasion to the Islamic nation with pride and empowerment, and with more progress and prosperity.

During the session, they reviewed the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries, aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and ways to support and develop it, in addition to discussing regional and international developments and the efforts made in this regard.

The session was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers. National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban and His Excellency the Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan.

From the Qatari side, the session was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Head of the Emiri Court, and His Excellency the Minister Trade and Industry, Acting Minister of Finance, Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, arrived in Jeddah and was received upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
