The National Debt Management Center closes the April 2021 offering of the Kingdom's local sukuk program with 11.713 billion riyals

Broadcast: The National Debt Management Center announced the completion of receiving investors' requests for its local issuance for the month of April 2021 AD under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s government sukuk program in Saudi riyals, where the volume of issuance was determined at a total amount of 11.713 billion Saudi riyals (eleven billion, seven hundred and thirteen million Saudi riyals ).

According to the statement issued by the center; The issuances were divided into two tranches, the first amounting to 3.889 billion Saudi riyals (three billion eight hundred eighty-nine million Saudi riyals) for sukuk maturing in 2028 AD.

While the second tranche amounted to 7.824 billion Saudi riyals (seven billion eight hundred and twenty-four million Saudi riyals) for sukuk maturing in 2031 AD.

This issuance comes within the annual borrowing plan for 2021 AD announced by the National Debt Management Center at the beginning of the fiscal year through its website, which has been scheduled according to commensurate with the working days of the international market related to issuance announcements and settlement dates.
