Broadcast: The meetings of the four permanent committees of the Arab Parliament and its sub-committees will start today, Wednesday, in Cairo. These meetings will continue until tomorrow, Thursday, which comes within the framework of preparing for the fourth session of the Parliament of the first session of the third legislative term, scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2021 AD in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt .

The Committee on Foreign, Political and National Security Affairs discusses a number of items, on top of which are political and security developments in the Arab world.

The Committee on Legislative, Legal and Human Rights is discussing a number of items, at the forefront of which is a guiding draft law to regulate irregular employment conditions and protect their rights in the Arab world.

The Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs Committee is also discussing a number of items, including combating violence against women in the Arab world, and the position on work to prepare the Arab convention to combat violence against women and girls. The committee is also discussing arrangements for holding a regional workshop on the reality of Arab legislation and laws concerned with combating violence against women, and preparing a guiding draft law to combat violence against women in the Arab world, in partnership and cooperation with the Arab Women Organization. The committee is also discussing the first draft of the report on the social situation in the Arab world for the year 2020, as well as reviewing the developments of work on launching the “Education Development Document in the Arab World”.
