The Saudi Minister of Culture and Governor of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula, Prince Badr bin Farhan, explained that Saudis will soon hold an international license to pilot an airship.

The Minister of Culture said, on Twitter: “Soon .. Saudis hold the European (EASA) license,” and he continued: “Thanks to the colleagues in the Saudi Balloon Federation.”

The Minister of Culture's comment came after the Saudi Balloon Federation announced, via Twitter, the launch of the first phase of the training program for obtaining a European (professional balloon pilot) license, which includes theoretical training, followed by the practical training program in the Dutch city of Hengelo.
