Disclosure of the details of the Formula 1 championship in Jeddah
The organizers of the “Formula 1” championship competitions in Jeddah revealed, (Thursday), the details of the race track that will be held during the period (3-5) next December, which is the fastest track ever in racing history.
The organizers explained that the length of the track, located on the Jeddah Corniche, is 6175 meters, 10-15 meters wide, and 27 bends, with an average speed of more than 250 km / hour expected in the simulation.
Formula 1 General Manager Ross Brown said that the track is unconventional in many street circuits, as it uses existing roads, adding: “It is always exciting to publish details of a new circuit, and the Jeddah Street Circuit is no exception, and it will provide an exciting race.”
For his part, the President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Faisal, said that the Kingdom looks forward to welcoming motorsport fans to Jeddah, pointing out that next December will be a great moment by hosting Formula 1.
