Bashar Al Malik, CEO of the Saudi Railways Company, "SAR", said that international companies have been invited to implement and operate the land bridge project.

He explained that the company had received a response from a large number of local and international companies to participate in the project scheduled to start work on it next year (2018).

He said, the announcement will be done, and the implementation mechanism will be canceled soon, indicating that the best course and the location of the project in the western region are currently being studied.

It will be implemented and operated by the private sector.
