The National Center for Palms and Dates is participating in SIAL Paris 2026, alongside more than 19 Saudi companies and the International Dates Council. The exhibition, held from October 17 to 21, aims to expand the global reach of Saudi dates and date-based products while creating new trade and investment opportunities.
The participation follows Saudi Arabia's continued leadership as the world's largest exporter of dates by value for the fourth consecutive year, according to International Trade Centre data. Saudi date exports reached approximately SAR 1.938 billion in 2025, representing a 14.3% increase compared with the previous year.
The center aims to capitalize on the exhibition, which brings together more than 7,500 exhibitors from 135 countries, to strengthen relationships with importers, distributors, retailers, and food industry companies while expanding into European markets.
The Saudi pavilion showcases various date varieties and processed date products, alongside tasting activities highlighting their use in innovative dishes and recipes tailored to international consumer preferences.
The significance of Saudi Arabia's participation extends beyond promoting dates as an agricultural product to strengthening their role in the food industry and increasing their added value, supporting the growth of non-oil exports and the competitiveness of Saudi products in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
