Riyadh is preparing to host the 25th WPC Energy Congress from October 11 to 15, 2026, as part of “Riyadh Energy Week,” bringing together ministers, corporate leaders, experts and policymakers from around the world for one of the largest international platforms devoted to the future of energy.

The event begins with a reception on October 11, while the opening session, main conference program and exhibition start the following day. Proceedings conclude on October 15 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.

Held under the theme “Pathways to an Energy Future for All,” the congress will focus on energy security, supply resilience, responsible production, investment and emerging technologies, as well as the integration of lower-carbon energy systems. Discussions will also examine the continuing role of oil and gas in meeting global demand and supporting economic development.

Participants include Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais, and Saudi Aramco President and CEO Amin Nasser, alongside senior executives from major global energy companies including ExxonMobil, Shell, TotalEnergies, BP, Chevron and Baker Hughes.

Organizers expect more than 25,000 industry leaders, policymakers and innovators to attend, alongside a global exhibition spanning tens of thousands of square meters.

For five days, the event will place Riyadh at the center of debate over one of the most consequential issues in the global economy and international politics:

Who secures the world’s energy today — and who will shape its future tomorrow?
