At a time when the region is facing military tensions and disruptions in maritime navigation, energy, and supply chains, Saudi Arabia continues to implement a broad calendar of exhibitions, conferences, and economic, tourism, and commercial events, with local and international participation.

In recent days, BETH has followed the opening of food and food manufacturing exhibitions, as well as fashion and textile exhibitions in Jeddah, preparations for the Riyadh Economic Forum and the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition in Malham, in addition to the announcement of the Red Sea Yacht Show, alongside the Kingdom’s rise to 29th place globally in the Travel & Tourism Development Index.

The momentum also extends to local exhibitions linked to regional products, such as dates, fruits, and olives, as well as numerous specialized events, while Riyadh prepares for the launch of the seventh edition of Riyadh Season on October 21, 2026.

In parallel, development, construction, and expansion programs continue across projects throughout the Kingdom’s various regions.

These activities therefore do not appear to be isolated events, but rather a continuous economic and development movement that persists despite regional instability.

These events are more than just a calendar of activities.

In practical terms, they show that the business cycle continues; foreign companies are coming to the Kingdom to showcase products and technologies, and to seek buyers, distributors, partners, and new investment opportunities.

They also reveal the widening base of the economy — from food and manufacturing to tourism, fashion, entertainment, events, and services.

BETH Reading

In times of instability, the continuity of economic activity becomes, in itself, an indicator of confidence.

The more important message is not that Saudi Arabia is immune to the effects of crises, but that it continues to invest and expand despite them.

War may disrupt markets, but it has not stopped the movement of the Saudi economy.

More importantly:

Saudi Arabia is not waiting for the crisis to end before building what comes after it; it is building through it.
