Red Sea Global launches a unified network between AMAALA and Shura; 278 yacht berths accommodating vessels up to 120 meters, with additional marinas joining in 2027

Red Sea Global has launched the Yachting Network, bringing the operation of its marinas and yacht clubs along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast under unified management, in a move aimed at building an integrated system to serve private and charter yachts.

Starting in winter 2026, yachts will be able to move between AMAALA and Shura Island under a single berthing contract, providing access to 278 berths distributed between AMAALA Marina, which has 119 berths, and Shura Marina, which has 159 berths. Both marinas can accommodate yachts up to 120 meters in length.

Additional marinas and berthing areas are scheduled to join the network during 2027, expanding maritime movement between destinations along the Kingdom’s northwestern coast.

The unified operation provides yacht owners, charter guests, captains, and crews with coordinated services through a single network, rather than dealing with each marina separately. It also places AMAALA and Shura within one maritime corridor that can gradually be developed into a broader network extending along the Red Sea.

A Winter Destination for Global Yachting

The move coincides with the official launch of operations at AMAALA Yacht Club, which aims to attract global yacht traffic during the winter season, benefiting from the Red Sea’s location between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. AMAALA is located about 2,000 nautical miles from Monaco, giving it a closer position than some traditional winter destinations for yachts arriving from the Mediterranean.

With this, the Kingdom is moving from developing individual marinas to building an interconnected maritime operating network that brings together berthing, services, and tourism mobility within a single system along the Red Sea.
