The Saudi Credit Bureau, “SIMAH,” has launched its second data center certified at Tier 4 by the global Uptime Institute, the highest classification for data centers in terms of readiness, reliability and business continuity.
SIMAH announced the project during its participation in LEAP 2026, saying the facility strengthens its ability to handle the rapid growth in data volumes and supports wider use of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, while maintaining high levels of security and service continuity.
SIMAH CEO Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Qudairi said investment in digital infrastructure represents a key pillar for the future of the credit information industry, noting that value no longer lies in the volume of data alone, but in turning it into knowledge and more accurate, trusted decisions.
The new center will enable SIMAH to develop more advanced products and services in analysis, assessment and risk management, while improving its readiness to adopt emerging technologies and new models as market needs evolve.
The move comes as the credit information industry shifts from simply collecting and providing data toward more intelligent systems capable of analysis, forecasting and building advanced models to support decision-making.

The real value of the project lies not in the data center itself, but in what can be built on top of it.
Achieving Tier 4 certification means SIMAH’s core infrastructure is now ready for a new phase in which credit information moves from recording the past to predicting risk and supporting decision-making.
At that point, investment in digital infrastructure becomes part of economic efficiency — not merely a technology upgrade.
