Amaala, developed by Red Sea Global, is one of Saudi Arabia's flagship tourism developments, designed around wellness tourism, yachting, arts, and ultra-luxury experiences. The destination is a key component of Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the economy and positioning the Kingdom as a leading global tourism destination.
BETH Analysis
The opening of Six Senses Amaala represents more than the launch of another luxury resort.
It marks the destination's gradual transition from the development phase to full operational delivery and guest experience.
The arrival of the Six Senses brand also strengthens Amaala's position within the global luxury hospitality market, particularly in the fast-growing sectors of wellness, longevity, and sustainable tourism.
As additional resorts and tourism facilities come online, Amaala is steadily establishing itself as one of the world's leading destinations for luxury wellness tourism, supporting Saudi Arabia's strategy to attract high-value visitors and international investment while shifting the focus from the number of tourists to the quality and value of the visitor experience.
