Opening of the First Hotel in Qiddiya
Riyadh | B
At the beginning of 2026, the “Aquarabia Park” hotel is set to open as the first hotel establishment in Qiddiya, the largest entertainment project in the world, as part of a rapidly advancing development aimed at redefining the concept of entertainment in the region.
The hotel represents a core component of the “Aquarabia” water park, the largest in the region and the first of its kind in the Kingdom, featuring a range of benchmark attractions, including the longest water roller coaster, the longest water slide, and advanced entertainment facilities targeting various segments.
The hotel is located in a strategic position close to the destination’s main attractions, spans 12 floors, and includes 550 rooms and suites, designed to provide an integrated experience that combines a recreational atmosphere with modern hospitality standards.
Visitors will have direct access to more than 20 water rides, including experiences introduced globally for the first time, in addition to service facilities such as swimming pools, a spa, and a variety of hospitality options.
BETH Analysis
The hotel opening should not be read as merely a hotel addition,
but as an operational signal:
The beginning of transforming the project from an idea… into an experience
What stands out at this stage:
- Linking accommodation directly to the entertainment experience
- Targeting families as a starting point
- Offering an integrated product (stay + entertainment + services)
This reflects a clear direction:
Qiddiya is not being built as an entertainment city… but as an integrated experience system
With the first hotel,
Qiddiya begins to test itself in front of visitors
Not as a project under construction,
but as a destination ready to be lived and experienced
