His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues his intensive international engagements through meetings and calls that reflect a diversity of files across the economic, political, and security spheres, amid a sensitive regional phase.
His Royal Highness met in Jeddah with President Guy Parmelin of the Swiss Confederation, where aspects of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Switzerland were reviewed, along with promising opportunities to develop them—particularly in the investment field—alongside discussions on issues of mutual interest, regional and international developments, and coordination of efforts in that regard.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials from both sides, reflecting the importance and breadth of the files under discussion, especially in the economic and investment domains.
In a related context, His Royal Highness received a phone call from Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, during which bilateral relations were discussed, existing areas of cooperation were reviewed along with ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to addressing developments in the region and their security and economic implications.
The call also addressed ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions, enhance security and stability, ensure maritime navigation security, and the impact of these factors on vital global supply chains.
