Riyadh Expo 2030 Company has awarded two new contracts to Al Yamama Company to execute infrastructure works and essential utilities at the Expo site, in a step that reflects the accelerating pace of execution and enhanced project readiness.
The works include developing internal roads, implementing smart mobility solutions, and executing supporting infrastructure networks, within a phase aimed at preparing the site for the subsequent stages of development.
This comes as an extension of the initial infrastructure works previously awarded to Nesma and its partners, within a project spanning 6 million square meters, executed according to integrated phased plans to deliver an exceptional edition of Expo 2030 Riyadh.
The works include water, sewage, electricity, and telecommunications networks, in addition to advanced infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations, supporting operational sustainability and creating an integrated environment for constructing pavilions and facilities.
The project has also recorded a notable achievement by completing one million work hours without injuries, reflecting the efficiency of the safety system and the accelerating performance, alongside progress in design and execution according to a clear roadmap.
The CEO of Riyadh Expo 2030, Eng. Talal Al-Mari, confirmed that awarding the new contracts represents an important milestone in the execution journey and reflects the ongoing momentum across various project tracks, with a commitment to engaging specialized partners to ensure quality, sustainability, and adherence to the approved timeline.
For his part, the Vice Chairman of Al Yamama Company, Hamad Al-Ammar, indicated that the awarding of these contracts reflects the confidence in the company’s capabilities to deliver specialized projects in line with the highest standards of innovation and sustainability.
B بث Analysis
What is happening at the Expo site is not merely construction…
but time management.
Accelerating infrastructure means:
prioritizing “readiness” over “construction.”
The difference between a successful project and a struggling one…
is not the scale of execution,
but its timing and integration.
Infrastructure here is not a service…
but the foundation of the experience.
From roads… to energy… to communications,
the Expo is being built before its form is built.
Riyadh Expo is not taking a step forward…
it is shortening the distance.
