His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron, during which they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, in light of the ongoing military escalation and negotiations.

Macron stated, in a post on his official account on the “X” platform, that he discussed with the Crown Prince the developments of the situation in the region.

The two sides also discussed the importance of fully and safely restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, given its direct implications for global energy security, in addition to emphasizing continued joint coordination to support efforts to de-escalate tensions and reach an agreement that ensures security and stability in the region.
