His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a phone call from the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, within the framework of ongoing coordination regarding regional developments.
During the call, developments in the region were reviewed, in light of the accelerating military escalation and its implications for security and stability.
The Pakistani Prime Minister condemned the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting facilities in the Kingdom, affirming that they:
- Represent a serious violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty
- Undermine the safety of its territory
- Constitute an escalation that threatens regional security and stability
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support and solidarity with the Kingdom in facing these challenges.
BETH Analysis
The call reflects more than a position of solidarity…
It indicates:
- A clear political alignment alongside the Kingdom
- Regional support beyond traditional statements
- Growing recognition of the risks of targeting critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia
At a regional moment moving toward a reshaping of alliance balances, this position appears as part of an expanding support network.
Positions are no longer symbolic…
They are turning into direct political messages.
When infrastructure is targeted…
the contours of alliances begin to emerge.
