Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 161 new industrial licenses in January 2026, while 107 factories began production خلال the same month, according to a report by the National Industrial and Mining Information Center.

The report indicated that investments associated with the new licenses exceeded SAR 3.14 billion, with expectations to generate more than 1,419 job opportunities across various regions of the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, investments in factories that commenced production reached approximately SAR 1.11 billion, with 1,437 new jobs, reflecting the accelerating pace of industrial projects entering actual operation.

The Ministry issues these indicators on a monthly basis as part of efforts to enhance transparency and monitor the Kingdom’s accelerating industrial growth trajectory.
