His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received in Jeddah the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, where the two sides held talks addressing developments in regional conditions amid the rapidly escalating military situation in the Middle East.

At the beginning of the meeting, the two sides exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

The discussions focused on the repercussions of the military escalation in the region and its impact on regional and international security, in addition to coordinating joint efforts to address these developments.

Both sides affirmed that the repeated Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the targeting of vital and civilian facilities, represent a serious escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.

The Egyptian President renewed his country’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks, affirming Egypt’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support against any threat to its sovereignty and security.

For his part, the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s supportive positions, praising the political and diplomatic support it provides, and affirming the depth of the historical relations between the two countries.

The Egyptian President had arrived earlier in Jeddah, where he was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by the Crown Prince, and later departed Jeddah, with His Royal Highness bidding him farewell.

BETH Reading | Axis of Stability

The meeting is not read as a protocol visit…
but as a reaffirmation of a key Arab axis at a moment of regional instability.

Saudi Arabia → a political and economic center of gravity

Egypt → a strategic depth

Their meeting at this time carries a clear message:

Balance in the region is not left to a vacuum…
it is managed through conscious partnerships.
