Saudi Arabia and Britain Discuss Energy

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy, met today in Riyadh with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Development Yvette Cooper.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in various fields, particularly in the energy sector.
The two sides also reviewed future opportunities in the energy sector within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation in the energy sector between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the United Kingdom.

This meeting reflects the continued deepening of the Saudi–British partnership in the energy sector, at a time when the world is witnessing major transformations in energy markets and supply chains.
Cooperation between Riyadh and London is no longer limited to traditional oil, but extends to renewable energy, low-carbon technologies, and global energy security.
In light of the transformations driven by Saudi Vision 2030, international partnerships in the energy sector are becoming one of the key elements for enhancing investment, advancing new technologies, and supporting the stability of global markets.
