Saudi–UK Security Coordination

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, held a meeting today via video conference with the United Kingdom’s Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed enhancing security coordination and cooperation between the two countries across various fields, within the framework of the strategic partnership and the longstanding relations between the two friendly nations.
The meeting also addressed current challenges facing the region, in a way that supports ongoing efforts and the joint position of both countries in maintaining regional and international security and stability.
The British Home Secretary affirmed during the meeting her country’s solidarity with the Kingdom regarding the events taking place in the region.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Faleh, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Issa, and Deputy Supervisor General of International Partnership Programs Major General Firas bin Saleh Al-Saleh.
From the British side, Dan Hobbs, Director General for Migration, Borders, International Policy and Programs, attended the meeting along with several senior officials.
