An official source at the Ministry of Energy stated that at 7:04 a.m. on Monday, the Ras Tanura oil refinery sustained limited damage after debris fell following the interception of two drones in the vicinity of the facility.

The source confirmed that the incident resulted in a minor fire, which was immediately brought under control by emergency response teams, with no injuries or fatalities reported.

As a precautionary measure, several operational units at the refinery were temporarily suspended to ensure safety procedures, while confirming that oil and petroleum product supplies to local markets remain uninterrupted.
