Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Jeddah today.

He was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

At an Iftar Banquet in Jeddah

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met this evening with His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt at an iftar banquet held at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.

At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince welcomed the Egyptian President to his second home, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while President El-Sisi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince for the warm reception and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the close and historic bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, along with ways to develop and strengthen them across various fields. The discussions also covered a number of issues on the Arab and Islamic fronts, developments in the Middle East, and the efforts being made to enhance security and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended on the Saudi side by:
Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs;
Dr. Musaad bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and National Security Advisor;
Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed, Minister of State for Shura Council Affairs;
Mr. Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, President of the General Intelligence Directorate.

On the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by:
Major General Ahmed Mohammed Ali, Chief of Staff of the President’s Office;
Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad;
Major General Hassan Mahmoud Rashad, Head of the General Intelligence Service;
Counselor Omar Marwan, Director of the Office of the President of the Republic.

President El-Sisi Departs Jeddah

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi departed Jeddah this evening after a visit to the Kingdom that lasted several hours.

He was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
