Riyadh to Host Global Medical Biotechnology Summit 2026

Under the patronage of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of the Riyadh Biotechnology Center Foundation, the 4th Global Riyadh Medical Biotechnology Summit 2026 will be held in Riyadh from September 14 to 16, 2026.

The summit is organized by the Health Affairs of the Ministry of National Guard, represented by King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment, as part of efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s biotechnology ecosystem and position the Kingdom as a global hub for medical innovation.

On this occasion, HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard and Board Member of the Riyadh Biotechnology Center Foundation, expressed his appreciation to the Crown Prince for patronizing the summit, emphasizing that this support reflects the Kingdom’s continued commitment to advancing the biotechnology sector and achieving the objectives of the National Biotechnology Strategy.

The summit is regarded as one of the world’s leading international platforms, bringing together senior government officials, decision-makers, CEOs of major pharmaceutical companies, experts, and investors in medical biotechnology, cell and gene technologies, and artificial intelligence in life sciences.

Aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the summit aims to promote innovation, develop the bioeconomy, and attract high-value investments in pharmaceutical and advanced technology industries, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in supporting biomedical research and leading global health initiatives.
