Saudi Defense Minister Holds High-Level Talks in Washington on Strategic Partnership

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, met today at the White House in Washington with U.S. Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

The meeting reviewed the strategic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, explored ways to strengthen and expand bilateral partnership, and discussed joint efforts to promote peace and stability in the region and globally.

The meeting was attended by HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States; Chief of the General Staff General Fayadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili; Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari; and Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.

From the U.S. side, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine was also present.
