Swiss cyclist Janis Fawazerd delivered a standout performance to win Stage Three of the AlUla Tour 2026, held on Thursday, January 29, as part of the sixth edition of the race organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation, in cooperation with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.

The third stage followed two days of intense competition among the world’s elite riders, covering a distance of 142 kilometers from the Winter Park to Bir Jaidah and Jabal Warkah, along a route defined by mountainous challenges and diverse terrain that characterize the AlUla landscape.

Riding for Tudor Pro Cycling, Fawazerd secured first place with a time of 3 hours and 22 minutes, ahead of Portugal’s Afonso Eulálio of Bahrain Victorious, who finished second. Colombia’s Sergio Higuita of XDS Astana Team completed the podium in third place.

In the overall classifications, Italy’s Jonathan Milan of Lidl–Trek retained the Red Jersey after accumulating strong results across the first three stages, while Fawazerd earned the Green Jersey for best individual time classification.

The White Jersey for best rider under 25 was claimed by Portugal’s Afonso Eulálio, while Malaysia’s Zi Yi Ki of Terengganu Cycling Team took the Orange Jersey as the most active rider in the tour.
